Rurouni Kenshin is the story of love, loss, and lust. It is what a battle for the soul is all about. In this AMV I wanted to show just that. I wanted to show how Kenshin suffers from his past forcing him into this endless battle in which he chooses to fight alone. However, no battle can be fought alone and if he continues solo his sword will prove to be nothing but a rusted blade against a stone one. I wanted to highlight that in his eyes, expressions, and most importantly his love. The tough samurai that we know, has hidden deep in his heart the deep love that glows in the prescence of Tomoe. The song Spin, by Lifehouse was suggested to me by a close friend and as I listened to the song and thought about it and compared and contrasted the anime with the song I realized that Spin is a clear description of Kenshin's life. How the glint of his sword has grown dull compared to the bright shine of his love. And that is what my AMV is all about, it is my story of Kenshin.
