I love many kinds of music and I'm always looking for something new. i know we all have are favs, some which might even not be that well known. So for the sake of getting to know this AC community and for people to share some awesome bands others might not get to know about otherwise I'm starting this thread!

Lets try to get some music out there that you think people might not know about otherwise, but of course anything is fine. It's all about what you love!


So I'm going to start out with some Asylum Street Spankers, Presidents of the United States, Mad Caddies, and one of my favorites the Violent Femmes.

I've never heard of anyone in this thread so far ever. I like all old classic rock regular rock hard rock metall buuuuuut unlike 90% of people i don't like punk or rap or r&b or soul or hip hop or country. I've never related music wise with anyone

HAHA! i'd agree with most of the music choices . . . though i do like some rap every now and again, as far as punk goes i like it and hardly find people nowadays that actually listen to it (fyi a modern band like good charlotte or 3 days grace, anything along those lines really, is NOT punk rock) >.< in my book anyways though a lot of people don't agree for some reason

So quiet . . . . thought everyone would jump at the chance to brag their favorite bands BUT i shall not give up! This thread will be popular, so im setting a goal of 100 posts right now on a whim! So bring it on AC!:gimme What genre does your passion lie in, or do you listen to a bit of everything! This won't be the end, even if i have to post 90 more times to achieve this it will happen! (more points for me anyway)

lol tama.Looks like you are pretty pumped up for getting high points.Well since I like japanese bands a some english bands,so here is the list.
1)Abingdon Boys school (their all songs are just awesome
2)Scandal (even though heard few songs of their band but still they are cool)
3)Altima (Heard only two songs but they are just too epic)
4)Uverworld (there songs are great too)
5)JAM Project (they have some awesome bunch of songs)
Now as for singles
6)Kotoko (her songs are awesome)
7)Mami kawada (I love her songs,especially serment,it rocks)
8)Iori namizu (heard only two songs but loved them)
9)Ishida yoko(heard only three of her songs but really loved them especially shiawase no iro from ah my goddess)

Now for english bands
10)Skillet (heard two songs and they are great)
11)Lovex(heard only one song so far lol)

Guess thats my list of favourite bands but there are many more but they are the best in my mind.lol
