Best anime endings

Postby Joshy80 » January 18th, 2010, 12:48 am

Hello people! What anime would you say has the best endings? There are quite a few endings I like. Elemental Gelade has a great ending! I also loved the endings of Yuyu Hakusho, and Midori days was real nice as well. Please list what anime has the endings you guys like.

I don't remember Elemental Gelade, the sad truth is most, seriously most anime do not actually end. the manga's continue on so MOST anime doesnt really have an ending. Rurouni Kenshin I would say has a great ending, actually fantastic story, in my opinion one of if not the best story still. Ofcourse you have to start with the first 2 bits of Samurai X, then Rurouni Kenshin the series, and then the last bit of samurai X which I do not believe was part of the manga, perhaps season 3 was not either, but it has the best story. it starts at basically the beginning of the boys life and follows him through to the end. I mean, how can that not be the best story/ending ever?

Inuyasha by far . But really one of my favorites is Code Geass R2's ending. I won't say anything so I don't spoil it.

And S-cry-ed's ending is another favorite. And I guess I should have emphasized that I was kidding about Inuyasha, I don't think an abrupt stop is even considered an ending.

I think Gundam Seed had a good ending but the ending of Seed Destiny kind of sucked. Oh and I really liked the ending of Chrono Crusade too.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of sad endings but I thought that series did it really well.

chrono was a good ending, like i said before any anime that actually ends is good. the ending to Kanon 2006 was really good as well. i have seen so many that i cant say which are good or bad anymore, they all blend together ~.~

The Dragon ball to Dragon Ball GT series has a good ending. And I agree I don't like how they ended the Inuyasha anime, another anime that had a disappointing ending is the Ranma 1/2 series. Nothing was resolved in that series and left you wondering if anything would be resolved.

There sure are alot of anime with open endings, but I have to say I prefer those to the super sad and depressing ones. The endings to 1s like X were crap. Buso renken is another anime with a great ending. Gundam seed and seed destiny both had similar endings but I did like how shinn finally gets his cocky butt kicked in seed destiny! I also agree with Kanon 2006 being an awesome ending.

I totally agree on the Code Geass R2- That was super amazing, but horrible at the same time. The ending to Gurren Lagann was pretty good, maybe not as good as I would have liked it to be but... Jebbus, I really haven't finished many anime... Oh, but my rating on the Inuyasha ending would be a -2/ 10. Running off into the sunset is not acceptable.
