"yea. you might, Kiba." Lola stretched her arms out infront of her. "i wonder how it will look like." there was a cooling breeze passing by. "the breeze is soo nice. and so is this forest. it looks so untouched by this cursed war."

Marco sighed, "Untouched for now maybe...I've passed a few places that look like this. I hope they still look the same-" They came upon the main part of the village, "Well, we're here. Just lay low. Kiba that means no talking, at least to where they can hear you. You never know what might happen."

Ten Ten yawned as she watched over numerous places, wondering which place she should strike havoc next. "Stupid mortals...Worship the very gods that kill you? How ironic." She chuckled and brushed through her long hair as she watched over the village that Marco and the others were about to arrive at.

Benkei was feeling a bit bored from the traveling and couldnt wait to see what kind of 'fun' he could have in the next town. "Man I hope they got some gambling somewhere around here, I need to make some cash or Im gonna get rusty!" He put an arm around Lola. "Or you and me could put on a little show in the main street, you know, a little sparrin' match and have your pet there collect cash from the spectators." Benkei was testing his new companions to see how far he could take things before they went over the edge, especially Kiba.

Kiba looked up at Benkei with a pissed off expression "im a what, Meat?"

Lola looked down at Kiba "Kib, lower the talking remember. and his name is not 'Meat'. so far, he has kept up with his promise so we should at least be nice to him."

Lola got Benkei's arm and lifted it away from her. she said to him "and keep your hands to yourself."

Marco suprisingly got irritated this time but only said, "Don;t touch her."

"Kiba...Can you sniff out the shrine area? so we can figure out what God this place is named after?"

a wind blew from the west and Kiba sniffed the air "the shrine is located in the west part of the village where the wind is coming from...but the god this village is named after, i cant tell. there are too many human scents on the shrine."

"thats ok, Kib. we'll just ask someone when we get to the shrine."

"Thanks." Marco kept it short, and headed in the direction Kiba described.

Ten Ten jerked her brush from her hair, "K-Kiba? Why would he be in this town?"

Ten Ten's eye brows furrowed, "One of my towns..." She said, meaning she had millions of towns, cities, and villages that worshiped her and her beauty. That's my power source...Worship.

(Can I say all gods have a power source? or like they get enhanced power from being worshiped?)

(all the gods had power when the earth was first created but they get stronger in different ways. so you can say her power and strength comes from being worshiped.)

Kiba whispered "no problem."

Kiba led them to the shrine.

there were a few people there, mostly monks.

Lola went up to a monk who was just walking around and said "excuse me, Mr. Monk. can you please tell me which god this shrine is in honor of?"

the monk looked at her as he answered "of course, miss. this shrine is in honor of the god, Tenjigami. one of the few gods who have sided with us humans. she has helped this town during the war."

Kiba looked at the monk as he thought "Tenjigami. where have i heard that name before?"

Marco looked at the monk sceptically. "Really? And how has Tenjigami helped this town?"

Ten Ten felt a jolt of power sweep into her after the monk's statment. She gave a sigh of pleasure and continued to spy over the group, "They coud interfere...Usually I would over look this sort of thing, but Kiba is with them..." She sneered, brushing her hair more agressively.

the monk answered "during the war, we had a major drought. she brought rain to us and the drought was no more."

Kiba then whispered to Marco "i've heard the god's name before. but i can not remember who it belongs to."

Marco heard Kiba, and made no expression to his responce. "Hmm, so you had a drought? Anything else? It could have been pure luck."

Ten Ten scowled and huffed, "Dare to insult me, boy." She crushed her brush in one hand and took a deep breath. "That shall result in a punishment. A small one, but a punishment none the less."

She cracked her nuckles and killed a few cherry blossoms that were near them, but not necessarily in the shrines boundaries. Marco noticed the blossoms wither and the trees dry up.

"I am not allowed to punish him directly. So the town will pay litte by little for his inquaries of me." She huffed and poofed a new brush in her hand and continued to stroke her hair.

Kiba noticed the flowers too. "hmm...thats strange."

the monk answered "well, once there was a group of soldiers that came here and they were planning to take over the village. but something made them leave without damaging this village. also, other villages with shrines in honor of Tenjigami are kept safe because of her."

(sorry. didnt know what else to put)

Marco said, "Alright. Do you mind us going into the shrine for a while? Just to, you know, visit."

Ten Ten hissed, "If only I could- Ugh...kill you little mortal."

(for the shrine immagine lke...a temple thing and a huge garden surrounding it.)

"oh course you may visit the shrine."

"thank you, Mr. Monk."

Marco and the other finally reached the main building of the shrine, which gave off a relaxing, almost comforting, aura.

It was twice as big as any building Marco had ever seen. It was elegant, gorgeous, fit for a emporess, and it was no wonder why the towns folk loved worshipiing her.

"Over the top I would say... What do you think Lola?" Marco asked.

Ten Ten watched over them, glaring with every step they took.

(can I bring another god like..later?)
