Nice so even the manga just stop, that's beautiful... I still don't understand how a series like Ikki Tousen could have continued but no Tenjho Tenge.. But everyone get back on the topic now!

I don't remember Elfen Lied being sad. I remember Code Geass being sad though.... I loved the anime.. like many anime though it gets ruined at the ending.

um...the ending of Code Geass was one of the best parts. Yes, it was extremely sad though.

Hmmm.....This is a difficult one for me [I cry rather easily ]

But what comes to mind right at the moment is Wolfs Rain--I really got very emotionally involved with all of the characters, and those last four episodes were difficult for me to watch as a result, even tho' I already knew what to expect.

[Hope that's not a Spoiler--I tried to stay non-specific]

Something else that affected me deeply was--

*SPOILER ALERT!!!*

Wolfwood's Death in Trigun

*End SPOILER ALERT!!!*

Since Trigun is my Favorite Anime, I've watched the series numerous times, except for that particular episode, which I've only managed twice......

However, with "Grave of the Fireflies", I didn't so much cry, as felt a deep despair--

Because things like that really do happen, all the time, everywhere.....

And really doesn't do much food to point fingers of blame, because we are all responsible for seeing that such horrors never happen again--

Which I think was the Point.

Oh, and for the Record--

After the War of Independence, the United States has been attacked on its own soil three times:

--The War of 1812 (lots of people forget that one, probably because we almost LOST it)

--Pearl Harbor

--9/11

But only the first two count as actual Acts of War from another Country, as 9/11 was technically Terrorism
