Alright time to get back on topic with some one-hit-wonders

Men at Work

Bee Gees

Janis Joplin (not a one hit wonder but still good)

PostPosted: March 16th, 2013, 8:04 pm
I love all those songs and artists. ^^

I actually remember a few songs from Men at Work.
Also, every time I hear Land Down Under I automatically think of Finding Nemo, probably because it was used in the television commercials advertising it. :D

BeeGees! ^^ Every time I hear Staying Alive, I always have that scene in my head of John Travolta strutting his stuff. xD

And what kind of a hippie would I be if I didn't like Janis Joplin? I mean, come on, less than two months ago I posted Happy Birthday and RIP in remembrance of her. :3

I have a few songs, myself.
Since St. Paddy's Day is tomorrow, how about some Irish bands? ^^;;

Happy Ol' McWeasel
(These guys aren't actually -from- Ireland, but they sound like they are and the video is funny!)

Heart of the hustler from Thunderball is a pretty good tune for while driving and relaxing.

My guess is that Muba didn't actually click the links... o.o
But Flogging Molly, yes, good song. Hadn't seen the video until now though, way guess is that maybe Happy Ol' McWeasel might've drawn their inspiration from it for their video? o.O

yeah that's my guess too (on both counts)

always liked flogging molly a lot, it's fun to see them inspire others now

phantom that song you linked was pretty good, but it didn't get exciting enough for me. i thought it was gonna pick up 2mins in but never did *cries* guess i listen to too much techno >.<

alright well since it's st. patricks day now please take a moment of silence for all the poor souls who lost their lives on this day. and if you feel like going out and celebrating with your friends, get online and look up what st. Patricks day is really all about, i bet you don't know if your out partying

however i think ill stick to the irish pride for today at least with another song from flogging molly:

I really liked the song by Flight of the Conchords. I've never heard of them before, but the song was awesome!

[gasp] I am a huge JoCo fan! [sigh] ♥♥♥ Although I have never met another person who liked JoCo, online or in person. o.o

I'm reeeally picky about covers, but I have to agree with you on that one...very excellent cover!

Another incredible cover is JoCo's cover of Sir Mix-A-Lot's Baby Got Back! ^^
