Yep. I just hope that when I get my full time job after college that I will still have time to watch anime and play games.

Well.. it wasnt an anime show at all.. it was WALLPAPER!! :)
I was hunting wall paper and came across a site full of anime wallpaper, I loved the stuff and must have downloaded 30-40 pics then and there, and more later on, I would have 500-600 anime pics for my screen saver now :D .

I then wondered what this anime stuff was and became interested, I watched a few from the video shop.. then found they had a useless selection and so started buying it..
So for a start I bought Chobits, Samurai 7, Noir, Final fantasy, Air, and the Studio Ghibli Collection, (Yay!! for Ebay and Amazon.. and others) and that was 150 movies / series ago.. ;)

I have watched many episodes as part of series as well, and have given both anime crave and youtube (to name a few) a fair hammering.
Seriously, I am not a fan of Ug-Yi-Oh, Inuasha or Naruto, found them to be very repetative, once you see 20 episodes then that is enough :(

I am yet to try out Bleach, I will do so soon no doubt, but I fear it may have the same effect as the other 3?

Any way ANIME 4 EVER!! 8 )

PS I am in Australia and Anime sadly sells at a premium.. :( and many titles are not even available here, so I have quite a few region 1 and region 2 Animes!!
PSS..I also joined an online video store and they have nearly everything, a huge anime title list with all the episodes available!! best thing I ever did!!

Cheers all and happy anime-ing!! (is that how you say it?? hahaha!)

We all have some cool stories about what made us like anime.
The languages of music, friendship, and love are all universal.

Winamp! Was sitting there looking at videos and stumbled upon someone playing Please Teacher over and over. After watching episodes 1-13 twice I told my friend and he watched 1-13 on winamp then he eventually sent me a link to animecrave. First thing I watched on Animecrave as far as I remember I think was D.N. Angel.

DN Angel I say skip on...the ending was meh but Please Teacher...come now Bassam I consider it a personal failure of mine that you haven't watched it yet!

As for me it would have to be my very first anime Vandread in 2003, just so happened to catch the first episode airing at 5 in the morning...was hooked and ended up missing the last episode due to a hurricane knocking my power out. Then my second ever anime Last Exile on G4 and with that the real addiction started. Quickly found Animecrave back when it was a free site and always shutting down due to no donations, was one of the few first Live members and unfortunately fell silent with the on set of college.

Hmmm this really depends on whether teenage mutant ninja turtles is an anime cuz I really don't have a clue! Seems like one but I never checked.

After that though it was Pokemon even though I didn't know that was an anime till years later then it was digimon and yu-gi-oh though I never really cared for the latter.

The first anime that actually got me hooked on anime though was Wolf's Rain, then Blood+ then Naruto. I'll admit that I had actually seen an episode of Naruto years before and thought it looked rubbish! Oh how very wrong I was....

Sometimes watching a certain episode makes you turn completely away, but I learned that sometimes it deserves a second chance like GTO that one was awesome. Maybe I should Give Fooly Cooly another chance, I checked that out once just did not attract me...

BTW for Teenage Ninja Turtles there is an anime but I don't think what you saw on TV was the anime.

Dragonball Z...I didn't even know about Dragonball until around 2000. This was back in 1998, after DBZ it was Sailor moon. Ask me which is my favorite, I couldn't tell ya because I can't choose. If it was life or death though...DBZ would be my choice.
