7/22/2007 Downtime!

Hello everyone!

On 7/22/2007 at around 7 AM we had a major attack against our website that couldn't be stopped at the time causing about 25 hours of downtime. Website was back on 7/23/2007 around 8 AM. We have now switched to another data center location thats better equipped to handle the ddos attack. We do apologize about this, unfortunately the attackers are trying to stop Anime Craves growth but we wont let them do that.

What are they using a ping with spofed IP addresses. Why this site? A router configuration change is in order huh?

in any case, this explains why I was having trouble the other day; I was really worried there had been an attack or something.

Does this have anything to do with the downtime, forum difficulties, and media problems today?

Oh my, that's just cruel. I did notice the downtime, and I agree with trueLOTM, who would attack AC? Do you know who is responsible for this?

I had trouble getting on at around 3-4pm was it another attack? If so why? I don't understand why this site? Something should be done about it.
