Media Loading Problem

When i click on the multimedia section, then click on ne of the links (trailers,movies,anime) ect... it just goes 2 a blank screen with a amazon.com thing in the middle, does it take time for the anime 2 start streaming? please tell me the problem when ya get a chance...

Hi,

Please email me at [email protected] and tell me what browser your using and what type of computer. If you are using a MAC the media may not work and if your trying a firefox browser the media will not work using it. Also you should make sure your internet explorer is up to date and make sure your windows media player is up to date.

Some episodes of Kenshin, X, and Wolfs Rain stop while playing, I've tried 5 time to see the first episode of X...

What do you mean by stop playing? And first off, try deleting your temp files. You can find instructions on how to do that through the help page, the link is at the top of the page next to your account stuff.

I deleted the temp files but the problem remains, episode 1 of X (the first one not the prologe) stops at random times while playing and it doesnt let me continue... the same problem with Wolfs Rain, Kenshin, Elfen Lied, all the epidosodes Ive tried to see stop... WHATS WRONG????

I had the same problem, try deleting your cookies, and make sure you're using the latest version of IE and at least Window's Media 9. And make sure you have your security setting on your computer set on low... and if these things don't work, then I'd have to say it's your firewall.

You could also try opening the eps straight from WMP by copy and pasteing the link into the "Open URL" option in WMP. That works for me too.

Other than that, I KNOW NOTHING.

not me lol.. once the title screen/singing part of the anime is done mine is all buffered.

Note, I had that problem a few weeks ago, but not now. Mine is done in about that same amount of time because I'm running off a T1.

that's cool. Yeah I remember when my media was slow... that was a WHILE ago. Back when I had to load an episode before I went to school and find it half-way buffered when I get back. lol

Maybe its just me, but every video I try to see suddenly stops, I imported the link to windows media player and started buffering it there, then at some point it stoped and gave and error sign. I really dont know what to do... I dont figure it posible but check that your media is right... I've tried Wolfs Rain episode 6 about 4 times...

It sounds like your internet might be timing out. Are you doing other things on the internet while you are waiting for the media to load? If you aren't then try leaving another window open, like leave it on the AC homepage or something, so the connection will stay open.

If that doesn't work, try NOT having any other internet programs running, or any other programs for that matter. Sometimes other programs cause WMP to bug out...

Believe me, when I was having the problem you are, I tried everything, and those are just a few of the things I tried.

I've got another theory... my account is corrupted, I tried to see a video at school and the same thing happened, and now that I see, this things says I joined Anime Crave in 1970, I dont think the page existed then and I actually joined two weeks ago... wierd...
